On January 25, the reporter learned from Beijing Municipal Bureau of ecological environment that 7302 complaints and reports on ecological environment were accepted in Beijing. Among the complaints and reports accepted, 58.9% of them were noise.

Of the 7302 complaints and reports on ecological environment, 144 were received by Beijing Municipal Bureau of ecological environment, and 7158 were received by 12369 special seats of the public hotline service center, of which 6956 have been completed, 346 are in the process.

According to the environmental factors involved, 33.3% of the complaints and reports are from air, 58.9% from noise, 2.3% from water, 0.9% from solid waste and 4.6% from radiation and other pollution.

In terms of air pollution, in January, there were relatively more problems such as dust, cooking oil fume, etc., accounting for 20.0% and 18.3% of the air related reports respectively; in terms of noise pollution, there were more noise in social life, accounting for 82.4% of the noise related reports; in terms of water pollution, there were more surface water pollution, accounting for 58.7% of the water related reports.

According to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of ecological environment, citizens can report environmental violations at any time through 12345 or 12369 hotline, "12369 environmental protection report" wechat, e-mail and other channels.

After receiving complaints and reports from the public, the staff shall, in accordance with the principle of territorial management and hierarchical responsibility, promptly transfer them to the municipal ecological environment bureau or relevant departments of each district for handling. In the process of handling complaints and reports, the staff will follow up the whole process according to the relevant work specifications; the ecological environment law enforcement department will carry out investigation according to the clues provided by the whistleblower, and handle according to the regulations.
